Saturday at the 2017 Raleigh Classic …

The 2017 Raleigh Classic drew even more buyers here today than on Friday. As the Saturday show opened this morning, the excitement in the air was so thick here in the Jim Graham Building at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds, you could cut it with a knife. There were some top quality classic and collectible cars here for sale. Old time collectors and auction insiders were gathered because they knew they would snag some quality bargains.

Here is what happened in the Saturday sale at the 2017 Raleigh Classic:

There was quite a crowd here at the Friday sale for the 2017 Raleigh Classic Auction in Raleigh, North Carolina. It looks like one of the best kept secrets in the collector car auction world is coming of age.  Lets look at a few of the high profile sales.

The 2017 Raleigh Classic is our kind of Collector Car Auction. This weekend we were on hand to bring you your first look at a cherished collector car sale. Cars On Line.com is in Raleigh, North Carolina this week to report all the action as the cars cross the auction block here at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds, June 23-24, 2017. For a small sale, this one packs a punch. Discerning collectors have come to this sale for years to find low miles collector cars and cars of high vintage pedigree.

“Its a great sale,” said Bob Boberg, of eClassicAutos.com. “We came here last year and were very impressed with the quality of the cars. Because it is a smaller sale, a collector can get a good car at an affordable price here.” We can’t wait to see what we can pick up this weekend.

Bob and his wife Donna will be covering the event for our readers. You can bookmark this page and follow the auction here. We’ll bring you photos and video from the sale. Or check our Facebook and Twitter pages to get updates on what the high profile cars are going for.
