Carlisle 2017 Chrysler Nationals, Final Day …

CARLISLE, PA – July 16, 2017 — As we prepare for the final day of the Carlisle 2017 Chrysler Nationals, the weather is cooler than yesterday and the sun is out, so it is a perfect day for a car show here in Central Pennsylvania. For today, at least, this is the center of the Mopar kingdom. They expect over 3,000 cars on display. For Mopar lovers, this is a good as it gets.

We are here at the Carlisle 2017 Chrysler Nationals to get a chance to experience a little slice of Mopar Heaven. The Cars On Line Car Show team will be bringing you all the action here this weekend. And the action will be intense. What would a Mopar Nationals be without a burnout contest, right? Here you go:

As a wrapup on Saturday’s action, we did an interesting interview with Dodge representative and TV personality Steve Magnante who is here unveiling the new 2018 Dodge Demon. He talked to our onsite photographer, Bob Boberg of eClassicAutos.com. For some insights on Dodge’s much anticipated Demon click the video window here:

Bob and Donna Boberg of eClassicAutos.com are here at the Carlisle 2017 Chrysler Nationals to bring you their take on this important event. If you can’t make it to the show, you can always say you saw it here on Cars-On-Line.com. Be sure to bookmark this page to get in on all the action. Here is what we have seen on the show fields the past few days:

Covering the Carlisle 2017 Chrysler Nationals was all about dodging the rain here on Friday. So we looked at some of the indoor exhibits. We found a display of Plymouth GTX and Hemi cars. It is the 50th Anniversary of the Plymouth GTX this year. Here is a taste of what we found:

People were already buying and selling in the Giant Swap Meet area here on Thursday. You’ll be amazed at the size of the swap meet, the variety of vendors, the car corral and the Manufacturers Midway.

This year, in addition to the displays of Mopars here at the Carlisle 2017 Chrysler Nationals, there was also a special display of Hurst Cars. We think this display was put on by Carlisle Events to gauge the interest in having a Hurst Nationals here at the Carlisle Fairgrounds. For a full report follow this link to see photos and videos of the Hurst Exhibit.
