1939 Ford Sedan Delivery
Owned by Rhea & Harold Schrader of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. The beautiful 1939 Ford Sedan Delivery is entered in the Semi Custom Panel Delivery category for cars from 1935 to 1948. It was built by Hot Rod Construction in Piedmont, South Carolina. The car was a barn find in Delaware. It now has a 5.7L Hemi motor with a 5-speed overdrive. There are so many body modifications you can’t begin to number them. “It came out beautiful,” says Harold. “I love this body style.” The entire body has been redone and refabricated to the smoothly molded look you see in these pictures. It has an interesting “Zebra” wood interior.
Here is an interview with owner Harold Schrader.
