MSRA’s 2014 Back To The 50s Weekend …
A 1958 Pontiac Bonneville Custom Hardtop was picked by Cars On Line.com’s Facebook followers as the Best of Show at the 2014 Back to the 50s Weekend. The Custom Hardtop with native Indian theme and graphics comes from the Chicago area. Ron Barclay, the owner, said it took him two years to complete the project. This car, more than any other at the show, caught the attention of Facebook fans and they voted with their “Likes.”
Every year the Minnesota Street Rod Association puts on the biggest collector car show in the country. They call it Back to the 50s Weekend. There is nothing like it anywhere. You’d swear you’d been transported in a time machine as you walk through the streets of the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. It was so cool to revisit the 1950s and 1960s with all the cars and trucks you might have seen along the streets of any American town. According to an early announcement on Saturday they had already registered over 11,800 old cars for this year’s MSRA 2014 Back to the 50s Weekend. Cars On Line.com was onsite to bring you all the action here at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds as hot rods, classic cars and classic customs were in a constant cruise of the fairground complex.
It was a fun-filled weekend with tons of automobiles, commercial vendors and automotive exhibits. The MSRA’s Back To The 50s Weekend is one of the largest street rod and classic car shows in the country. This year marks its 41st Anniversary.
Since Back To The 50s is not a judged show, Cars On Line.com picks the top cars at the event. As we post them here and on Facebook we let our Facebook fans select the most popular cars from a list of judging categories. Throughout the weekend we selected the “best” cars from the following categories: Best 50s Classic, Best Resto Rod, Best Custom Truck, Best Paint and Best Pro Street. Then we’ll ask our newsletter readers and Facebook fans to vote for their choice as “Best of Show” by using their “Likes” on our Facebook page. You can still vote for your favorite with your “Like.”
Here are the rest of the top picks by our Facebook fans.

When do you stop accepting votes? Is there a final results page afterwards? My compliments to whoever wrote the description with my car. Well done!
