Carlisle Events, the promoters for all the car shows at Carlisle during the year, said they were glad they had taken the chance and gone ahead with this event despite the head winds of the COVID pandemic. And swap meet vendors were certainly appreciative of their courage in putting on this show this month. Over half of the car shows that you would normally have a chance to go to this year have been cancelled. It was so good to be out at a car show again, enjoying the smell of the exhaust and getting that feeling when you hear a cammed up engine rumbling by.
