Haulin’ all you can hold, then return to buy some more. That’s it works here at the Charlotte Autofair Spring 2014 Swap Meet on the grounds of the Charlotte Motor Speedway. And that’s the method many use to scour acre upon acre of collectible auto and truck parts here. Can you imagine a swap meet that has over 8,500 vendors? That’s a lot of classic auto parts. It’s a treasure hunt! Just the place to uncover that hard-to-find part that’s been eluding you. There are two fields (named “Orange” and “Blue”) in the infield of the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Two more fields (“Green” and “Red”) are located outside the speedway on the parking area. The swap meet and car corral at the Spring Charlotte Autofair 2014 are sponsored by the Hornet’s Nest Region AACA, one of the largest Antique Auto Club of America regional chapters in the country. They really put on a good show.
We found the Coker Tire display in the Manufacturer’s Midway in the Swap Meet here at Charlotte Motor Speedway during the Spring Charlotte Autofair 2014. This is a new steel belted radial tire that is made to look like bias ply. The Coker representative told us it won an award at SEMA for innovation in design. Coker Tire is based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
