Best of Show at 2014 Charlotte Spring Autofair
2014 Charlotte Spring Autofair ‘Best of Show’
A 1955 Chevy Bel Air owned by a Kentucky man won the coveted ‘Best of Show’ honors at the 2014 Charlotte Spring Autofair. The ‘Best of Show’ award is given to the top show car displayed on the Car Show field. Also included in the awards ceremony today were ‘Best of Show’ awards for the top car from each of the car clubs in attendance here this weekend. There were 48 car clubs represented here today.
Jerry Horine, of Louisville, Kentucky, brought his beautiful 1955 Chevy Bel Air to the 2014 Charlotte Spring Autofair partly because he had so many relatives from the Charlotte area. They were obviously out here today in support of Horine and his radical custom ride. Click the video window below to see it during the awards ceremony at Charlotte Autofair.
Horine said he saw his ’55 Chevy 2-Door Post in Louisville just after it was restored about three years ago. He said this was the first time he has shown it. So he’s one for one. The ’55 Chevy resto mod features a 2″ chopped top and some very nice wheels. Click the thumbnails below for enlarged view.
