Daytona Turkey Run Car Show
The Daytona Turkey Run Car Show started in 1974 when one of the founders decided there had to be a place for custom cars to be shown. After he was denied entry in a parade in Ormond Beach, he started the Thanksgiving Day event with just 45 show cars that year. The show has grown to become the largest car show and swap meet in the Southeastern United States. You don’t know how big this show is until you try to walk around it. It completely covers the infield of the 2-and-a-half mile Daytona International Speedway.
