Iola Car Show 2018
Iola Car Show 2018 Features Movie Cars
Here we are at the Iola Car Show 2018 for a weekend full of fun for the whole family, July 12-14, 2018. The tiny rural Iola, Wisconsin community will be overrun by 120,000 collectors and spectators from all over the Midwest and Canada. It is one of the largest swap meets in the world with 4,200 vendor spots and acre after acre of rare parts to sell. It takes days just to go through the parts meet. In addition, there will be 2,200 show cars on display. This 46th Annual Iola Car Show & Swap Meet will be featuring Celebrity and Movie Cars in the main concours tent.
With the theme for this year being Movie Cars, the Iola Car Show had a nice display here on Saturday:
Our Cars-On-Line.com Car Show team will be covering the Iola Car Show 2018 this weekend. Watch for our updates on this page with photos and videos of the top collectors and their cars. Or you can follow us on Facebook or Twitter to read our posts.
Taking a break from searching the car corral area for good deals, we caught some of the excitement at the Pass In Review in the concours area. It is a way of welcoming some of the cars to the Iola Show. Watch the video here of the Pass In Review for 2018:
Special guests for the show include Gene Winfield and Henry Winkler. Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster from the Munsters TV sitcome from the 1960’s) was here again this year with Grandpa Munster’s Drag-U-La hot rod coffin built by George Barris.
When you go to the Iola Car Show one of the areas to take in is the Blue Ribbon Concours. Here you will find cars which are on display by invitation only. Needless to say these are some of the finest in the country.
If the Iola Car Show is unfamiliar to you, you may want to put it on your bucket list. It is well worth the effort to experience this show at least once. Here are some of the stories from past shows we have attended in Iola, Wisconsin.
