The 1970 Corvette LT1 ZR1 is a rare bird indeed, with only 25 being produced in the inaugural 1970 run and only 53 in total being produced through 1972. The seller tells us this is the 3rd of the initial 25 to roll off the assembly line. It comes in Marlboro Maroon, with its original LT1 ZR1 370 horsepower engine intact. A complete and photo-documented restoration has left it in 1970 Corvette LT1 ZR1amazing, investment grade condition. Other features include an original M22 4-speed transmission. The seller tells us it is equipped with side pipes, and that the original stock exhaust manifolds are still in his possession. ZL-1’s like these were not available with radio, power steering, A/C or tilt wheel, so don’t look here for them. Many more correct, original parts are listed in the ad. The current owner says it was owned by the same person for 40 years before him, and given the incredible rarity and collectability of these Corvettes, it’s easy to see why he held onto it for so long.
